Any shit head that's bidding 30k should have checked this out themselves and put two and two together.

That seems to be what he's hinting at.

so it was an illegal deal in the first place?

So the car was legally imported into Canada and then something magic happened and it was then registered in the US?

If you did nothing then you shouldn't have to worry, right? Or am I missing something? I want to import a euro bimmer someday, need to know the rules...

Like many of Vlad's projects, this one was a huge let down. Right from the beginning it was terrible to see that nice, original touring get chopped up. Bad color choice, garish decals, fat front spoiler... Combine Vlad's shady business, tasteless car projects, and his scam against Yan, I don't see how anybody would dare to defend him. Don't let the shiney paint and his apparent wealthiness fool you into thinking this guy should be considered the quality standard for euro restoration/modding. The guy is a joke.

This car looked rather decent at Bimmerstock, but then again, it was Azevedo's who did the work. at the forged vin, and yet people still think this guy deserves a second chance. If Gfest wasn't full of R3V members, he would have got his ass beat first think he opened the door.

    Seemed legit.

I have to agree with the tow hook, and mirrors needing to go. But thats it. It is a beautiful car. The blue on that dark tan interior is awesome.
