Hi everyone, didn't see a specific Introduce Yourself section so here I shall place mine. I posted some photos of my 325is on my profile's gallery. I have some more interesting photo's I will post later! Including one of an entire drumset inside. :3
But yeah, I found out about this community from a fellow member calling himself E30 Lover who plays an old shit game called Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, but there's a few guys with that name on here I saw. No idea which one.
At any rate, I've been trolling the site for a lot of info and stuff, just got around to signing up. I've owned this car since this year, sold my 2004 Cadillac CTS after I purchased the E30 from my friend. I am the 5th owner, it's all stock outside of the retarded head unit radio. I am still researching the exact stock radio I need to put back in it but allow some kind of iPhone/MP3 interface via the CD interface.
My intent is to maintain this car as stock as I can keep it. The exhaust is even stock but with some type of unidentifiable upgrade turbo option via the dealership at time of purchase (I still am deciphering the original receipts on this). It sounds very nice!
I've recently only done some necessary repairs, such as a new fan for the radiator (bearings failed on it one day), a new windshield (thank you road-maintenance truck), and a new compressor (thank you high-compression hose exploding and stripping the thread on the compressor).
All in all it's still somewhat strong, very fun to drive at high speeds and in well-loved condition, though not 100% perfect. I'll make sure it gets there and stays all stock!
In the meantime I'm looking at some other E30's for track racing to get back into that after I trashed my 2004 S2000. Someone in a gold E30 has his supercharged and is amazing to watch on the amateur circuit here at NJMP. I want to be that guy! It'll happen!
At any rate I love this forum and the detailed info I've found on it thus far. A few more things to deal with on this car but nothing serious. On an interesting note, in DE's inspection, there's an emission test that has a limit score of 240 whatever-that-means points to fail. My car scored a 4. So there you go, shove that up your ass you retard Prius owners, you'r car won't last 23 years! Muahahaaa! :p
Anyway, Hello!
