USA connection needed (I'm from Holland)

    Hi everyone,

Creating this topic I realized it may sound like a cheap ass scam deal, but I sincerely hope you guys don’t think of it that way.

I’m from Holland and since a few years I own a BMW orientated motorsport company. (www.hardemanmotorsport.nl) We’ve partners in the USA like Ireland Engineering which we visited last November.

Certainly there are some interesting differences and opportunities regarding BMW parts trade between Europe and the US. So basically I’m looking for someone who can get hold of parts and also who might be interested in selling (used) Euro parts in the US.

Mainly we’re interested in differentials from the US, we could get doglegs here or other Euro specific parts.

Also it would be best if you’ve a business license with tax nr etc. If you’re just looking for something specific from Europe but you’re not able to get us parts, feel free to contact us. We rather don’t take all the efforts for 1 little piece of plastic, but for transmissions, etc. we can always arrange something.

If you think you might be the partner we’re looking for please contact me.

Apart from all the business related stuff above I’m just a big E30 enthusiast. I own a 2-door 325i mtech2 and a E21, and some cars for trade purposes. Also we’ve a track E30 which is always under construction. :)

Holland, welcome dutch ancestor, we could be cousins or something. My last name is "snitselaar".

Euro parts importer you say. I cant be a trade partner because of my age but i hope you find someone. Hopefully guten parts, bluntech, or one of our local companys can help you!

      Hi, it's Andrew from IE.

A good bet would be Guten Parts http://www.gutenparts.com/ , whom I'm sure will chime in here.

how readily available are dogleg transmissions in Europe? Since you're looking for US spec diff's does that mean you have different ratios over the pond? Man I would love a dogleg and an mtech II kit with an alpina 3 spoke steering wheel ;)

Hi Andrew, cool you're also a member of this forum. Snitselaar could very well be a Dutch name.

I'll contact Guten Parts. The doglegs are not for sale by the dozen, but with some patience you can get one without too much trouble.

At this moment we've a m20 dogleg lying around and I could get another one. Mtech kits are quite expensive and sought after here also, and Alpina steering wheels too.

The differentials in the USA are just cheaper. :)

I hear US bumpers are all the rage in Europe.

                      Can you confirm this?

It's a shame they throw all the bumpers in the shredder over here. Time to load 200 bumpers in a container and ship 'm to the US. Ha!
