Looking into purchasing an E30 which to get?

Hey guys I am new to E30s and BMWs in general. I wasn't really sure what section to post this in so feel free to move it to the appropriate section. I am looking into purchasing an E30 as my next DD and am trying to figure out what to go with. I am looking for a reliable DD with decent horsepower coming from a STG3 Legacy GT (280whp) power is important to me. The three things I have done some decent research on is turboing an M20 E30 or picking up a M50 swapped E30 and turboing it or a S52 swapped E30. Thanks in advance for the help

If power is important to you, don't bother buying any particular E30, you will have to build it anyway.

Pick early or late, plastic, metal or Euro bumpers and fill in the blanks.

Good luck, and post it up when you get it!

With that statement. I would recommend an NA 24v swapped E30.

Hey, he said reliable, and with a turbo the M10 can still be decently reliable and powerful.

Honestly e30s put power down differently in my opinion and you dont need a 200hp+ e30 to hav fun. I can pull cars easy on the highway with my stock vert. Id suggest a m20 model or one with an m30 swap. Plenty of power, if you are dding why would you want a hp monster anyway?

What kind of cars are you "pulling" with 168hp and a 3100lb, at the lightest, car?

Where in Orlando are you? I'd love to check it out Haha I guess I should have clarified I'm not looking for crazy amounts of power just 2-250 or so at the wheels with some room for more power.

Pulling, meaning passing cars. Not racing. Only idiots street race.
