Share the horror of weather damage...

I know at least two people whose e30s were damaged or destroyed in the storms we had around DC last Friday. I hate weather damage. At least if you r3v your car you had some sort of control over what was going to happen. With weather it's just so random.

What's the worst mother nature has inflicted on your car?

Nothing E30, but mother nature gave me the opportunity to hydrolock my S12 many moons ago.

It should be noted that I pushed a hydrolocked buick out of a giant flooded road with it, and on my way back I locked up myself at about 6000 rpm.

It was a $200 car, I didn't give a fuck. Just gave me a reason to upgrade from the shitty ass CA20E to the KA24DE, which is much better.

It also should be noted, that this was inside of it's engine. And I drove it 30 miles home after emptying out her cylinders.

    Good times.

(If you're not familiar with S12's, the stock intake is right at the hoodline in the front. So looking at my sig, the water was above the white marker lights)

Bent the fog light on my e28 and I almost hit a downed tree.
