It's funny reading that thread. Most people were on his nuts but a couple guys had great comments about things not lining up or the shitty spraypainted gearbox and other items and they get flamed. I can not believe that car sold for 17,000. Nothing worthwhile or BMW enthusiast special looked to be done to that car. Just new brakes, cleaned the car and spray painted everything and a shitty body kit and paint.

I'd like to comment on that car. I saw it in person a few weeks ago at Castro's.

First off, car looks great from 10 feet away. As you get closer, so many fucking things are wrong.

1. The silver paint is FLOODED with metallic. The thing looks like cheap nail polish. Even at night it's just metallic flaked to hell. Super cheesy looking.

2. The fucking front end is literally positioned several inches to the right when looking straight at it. It's like the rest of the car is centered and the front end is just totally shifted, so there's space between the passenger side fender and the entire front end. Looks hilarious.

3. The car's transmission fucking destroyed itself. I got a good look at it underneath and it was pretty fucked. Maybe Vlad put a shitload of Lucas Oil in the tranny to keep it from self-destructing for the last year or so.

4. It smells like a bunch of Russians fucked each other in the interior.

100% Vlad in so many aspects. Everything people say is wrong with that car is true. How the fuck it sold for $17,000 is a mystery. It'd be a stretch to even call it a $4k E30.
