This kid and his dad came to my bakery and asked if my two E30 M3s were for sale. I said I didn't want those ugly old BMWs anyway so I would sell them for 2k each if they came back that Sunday...Leave a comment:

i've had two notes left on my IX parked in front of my house and actually had kids knock on the door and ask if i wanted to sell. also had many interested parties when driving the M3 aroundLeave a comment:

i would alwasy just as a BS number. I mean if someone is willing to give you 15K for a mostly stock car. Take it and run.Leave a comment:

I find it more of a reason to keep my car when people ask if I will sell it to them...but the amount of work and pride I take in the car does not have a dollar value. Purely sentimental, in my eyes.Leave a comment:

By the "sale" part I assumed it was a minority...asking by actually saying "sale."Leave a comment:

This is exactly how I bought my e30.
I got my dad into e30s and he was at Costco one day, he saw my current e30 parked in front idling, someone was sitting in the passenger seat waiting for the driver and my dad went up and complimented on the car, after a short chat he asked if the e30 was for sale. THe passenger said hes not sure because its his brothers and probably wasn't. My dad waited a bit for his bro to come back but had to leave, before he left he got his number. Passed the # to me and i called a month later. Just so happens the guy was looking to buy a new car and decided on the spot to sell. I guess my dad was just at the right place and time.Leave a comment:
