well i'm proud and sorry to report i did not buy an e30. the next few years are going to be hectic as far as relocating to another state, getting jobs, buying a house, fixing up the house, etc. that i decided a project car is not what i need right now. so i decided to snag an e36 m3. i can't express how MINT this car is, except the bolsters on the vaders are a bit worn, but other than that the previous owner had it for almost 4 years, did all the mods and maintanance and i can tell he's very meticulous. well anyway, here's the modlist for those interested and a picture or two.

Very nice looking M3, but I would never want to buy a car that someone had already done all that work on, simply for the fact that you'd never be able to lay any claim to any of it. People would be like "damn, that (___insert mod here___) is badass!", and all you could say is, "Yeah, the last guy that owned the car did it..." :D Still a badass looking car, tho.

i don't usually care to buy previously modded cars either, i've done all the work to my previous ones. but right now i simply do not and will not have the time or money to drop on modding and/or restoring a car. so this was the next best solution. all i have to worry about is maintanance, then once i decide i can afford to spend more garage time i might pick up an e30 strickly for track use, that should be a fun project.

2 fast 2 furious? i don't think so... and this color is badass, only an option on the 95 M3 and looks tits in person.

Not too shabby! Must be a night and day difference from the VR.
                        Enjoying it?

thanks for the nice comments, it's a pretty big difference over the VR6 but overall not night and day. they both have a similar sound and torque curve, this one just has a lot more of it ;) as for the cost, i'll be honest, i got a very good deal at $12k. my total budget for the e30 was a total of about $11.5k once both cars were sold, the $8k was just from the mk3 and another 3500 or so for the mk2 which will unfortunatly be sold next week sometime. i just can't have two cars right now, so my baby has to go.
