Its well worth the wait and dealing with scott
copy pasted from my build thread

I was at a near by e30 shop in Huntington Beach when I noticed an exhaust shop right next door. Stromung exhaust, hymm. I remember there being a group buy for Stromung exhaust a few months back so i asked if i could look around. Scott there was very nice and showed me around. and found out that they still had exhaust for e30's

I put a order in and received a unit.

      -
      slanted tips

      rusted out muffler

soaked the nuts in penetrating oil

      old exhaust off

      new hardware

      old vs new

      flanges bolt up perfect

it fits the cutout in the stock valance perfectly even, flat, and centered, which i was very pleased with

      nice fitment and proportion.
i like this picture because i have changed the bumper trim to euro trim, have added a euro plate filler, the tails went
from all red's to sanded down the ambers to stock to mint condition stock tails off another car and now the addition
of the exhaust and the teaser of the next addition to the car(in this general area)

Scott makes them in a batch. Like iwantspeed and e30lyf mentioned, it is worth the wait.

My muffler is almost completely rust and I've been considering ordering one of these when I have the spare cash. Does anyone who frequents the meets in the south SF bay have one of these on their car? I'd really like to see one in person sometime.

As said above, I believe they are made to order.

Great sounding exhausts. I almost pulled the trigger on one for my E36 M3 but it's just so hard for me to justify a $600 catback.

Lol again, PM Cabriolet. He can't say enough good things about stromung. And he has one on his 325i cab. If you go in the norcal section you can check out the meets and I'm sure there will be one he's going to sometime.

Oh, really? Thanks, I actually know Cab. I thought he had an IE catback though, I wonder where I got that idea. Next time I see his car I will pay more attention to his exhaust.

I had to wait a few weeks before mine was shipped. It is worth the wait. It is an amazing sound exhaust.

I ordered my unit on 6/25 but Scott went on vacation so my account was not debited.

I wanted to use a gift card for a small portion of the price and cover the rest with my debit card. My account was debited on 7/12 but he told me he could not get my gift card to work.

I have followed up with emails and phone calls with no luck. I was told he had one in stock and was ready to ship. Therefore I would not need to wait to have one made.

Agreed was considering getting one for my Ti. I have them on both of my E30 M3's and they sound great.

worth the wait, worth the lack of communication and worth the cost. this is one of the few purchases i wont ever regret.
