    E90 320si > M3

    I would love to drive one of these, more so than an E90 M3. A good read with some technical information:

      the street version is nothing great. I personally have swapped out 2 motors now that have burned holes through the pistons. a non valvetronic crappy weak motor, had to remove the valvetronic because it was flying apart at high RPMs in the racing series back in the early testing days.

        That's too bad about the street version. I wonder if this new "special edition" model they mentioned will have all of the bugs worked out.

        I applaud BMW personally for returning again to their high output NA 4 cylinders in WTCC. Too bad the body is still a bit overweight and an eyesore to boot.

            This is from 2006 but I wasn't on R3v in those days so thats why I decided to post it.

              I agree, the 4cyl motors are way cool. I didn't even know it was available as a street version. I don't think it's the best looking car but, the facelift e90 is the best of the bunch.

                It just needs a lighter chassis, not that land-yacht e90.
