BMP chip specs?

BMP.M20.502/ 1997

I contacted bmp a while back and they said that they dont have any info on the specs of the chip because it was old.

If anyone has the same chip or knows the specs please let me know.

I would assume it's the same as the conforti chip. Back then, they were all using a close tune.

I would really like to know the injectors to use with it and fuel octane.. I got this chip by error and would reall like to know if i can use it.

I bought a chip from BMP and ran it for years. Originally ran it on my stock M20 and kept it all the way through until my M20 2.8 stroker. Had zero issues with it, even with 19 lb injectors and an M30 AFM. I always ran the higher octane, think 89 was the minimum.

Ok i installed the chip on a 173 i have laying around, car turned on ok and idled fine but cel was on immediatly after firing up? Peake threw 01 DME control unit selftest. I cleared the code but it didnt clear, it just stayed there? What can be wrong? I the chip is insalled backwards does rhe car fire at all? I aligned the chip halfmoon with the socket halfmoon, but in this bmp chip the halfmoon is only on the top part of the chip not from top to bottom like other chips.. Any input?
