Me too. Digging up the pic got me all nostalgic again. FML.
I'm thinking I'll have another come next Summer. It's kinda like when you eat something really good in your childhood, then don't have it for a long time, but one day remember the taste and really want it.

I'm in it for $15k, still needs paint and body work. Would not sell it for a penny less than $13k, realistically priced or not

Chick was asking $500 with a blown headgasket. I paid $500 cash, headgasket wasn't blown. Threw a timing belt on and DD'd her. Wish I never sold it.

Made it into this:

Traded the sedan for this:

Technically had $800 into the sedan, so paid $800 for the 'vert.
Made it into this:

Sold the 'vert for $1200 to a kid who trashed the shit out of it.
This one I got for building a 2.7i engine.

Its's sitting awaiting a V8. It's totally stripped out, rust free though.Leave a comment:

Mine's a euro 1987 320i. I bought the car with a supposedly rebuilt bottom end and it had some cheap muffler on it as well with 260k kms on the engine/chassis. Everything on it works, body was pretty straight with minimal rust ( this is Germany ,after all) though it did look as though some had repaired some damage to the passenger side forward wheel well. Nothing underneath to indicate and type of accident or major damage. Drove it three hours back home without a hitch. Then I bought my euro M30B34 and all the accompanying stuff to do the swap from a German and put it all together. She also has a full exhaust with headers, plaid sport seats, upgraded to Motronic 1.3 and a chip for the 179 DME.. I did get a lot of stuff for free or next to nothing though...
Grand total investment for my euro 335i: $3600.00
