I'm approaching my one year of ownership of my E30, bought it with 217k on the clock, almost to 225k and November will be our one year anniversary. DD her every single day. Almost needed a tow once, but she ended up pulling through fine. Slowly been getting all the maintenance issues done, and she feels better with every part replaced.

By far the best automobile I've ever driven or owned. I don't plan to stop DDing her until I find and fully restore an '02.

    God's fucking chariot.
    Different strokes for different folks.

I DD a 86 325es for about 3 years then got my 91 325is and DD it up the last 11 years untill march of this year. I parked her in the garage and I bought a 90 325i coupe in march to DD and track instead. I am giving her a long over due break for her 11 years of service.

Definitely do! DD it till it snows. Running on h&r race springs, all poly bushings, a nice set of bbs rs001's and an m30 swap.

I DD my e30. Racked on quite a bit of miles too. Two years ago I would be making 60 mile trips 4 times a week, driven from Santa Barbara to San Diego and back easily 8 or more times, drive it around currently wherever I can't get on my bike. Never had a problem other than the accident couple years back... Otherwise she takes good care of me

Course recently where its been 103+ it hasn't been terribly fun haha

I used to alternate between the 318is and my 325e till I sold the eta. Now I roll between the 318 and my 535is, depends on where I'm going and if anyone is coming with me. My 318 has 288k and some change on it now.

Rain or shine, though I'm wanting a devoted winter vehicle, driving a lowered car in an area that averages 360" of snow a year kinda blows sometimes.

I drove my last track toy during winter, regret it everyday. Sold the car so it doesn't really matter lol.
I DD'd my swap car for about a month before I picked up an $800 e30 for my daily, it was rough enough that I don't want to put more time or money into it than necessary. The swap car is now a weekend warrior!

I have not dd my e30 since december last year.

i had a long string of cars which were all better really. 2 miatas, although I never want another miata. But all had better gas mileage at least.

right at this moment the e30 is an economy car, I actually have an 04 f150, a 96 v6 camaro, a 85 toyota dolphin motorhome and the bmw.

Whats sad is that the e30 gets about 6 mpg better than a 21 foot motorhome. nothing good about that all really.

Just now made it pretty enough again and I will dd it again.

just about as fun in the twistys as a miata, and the seats recline back.
