    Just bought a 1989 325is!

I just got this lovely Alpinweiss II 325is. Just wanted to share some pics. It has been in a rear end being the rear ender. But is in good condition and needs some paint on the hood and rocker panels. And it came with practically new tires.

Now....make the rest of the interior match the driver's seat!

Actually I plan to change the interior over to black. I don't like the tan or the burgundy. It needs a new center support bearing. And the suspension could use new bushings. I paid $3500 for it.

Lose that chrome oil cap. Nice find, good start!
What are your plans other than the interior?

The intake boot looks like it needs replacement. Nice car for the price.

I found it on craigslist. It was a California car at one point. The throttle body gasket failed and I need to know if I need to use rtv or if it goes on dry. The boot is ok. It needed a clean nothing more. Paint for the bits that need it is about 500-600 from a local body shop if I do the prep.

It seems appropriately priced to me, maybe slightly overpriced but not bad. Nice find OP!
