End up talking about cars, and BMW comes up. Everyone starts blabbing about te new m3...

Someone must of noticed my e30 out front that I brought... Said " looks good,too bad it's so old...."

I chime in, saying its mine (the boosted m20) and tell him it'd likely surprise him....

"bla bla bla, it's old" he says.

Fine... Let's go for a rip.

He buckles in, I cruise around granny style for a good 5 min to warm her up.

Bam. 1st pull 12psi and a "holy shit that's not right! " he says.

2nd pull same deal" okay that"ll do" with giddy laughter.

Get back, and he says " don't judge a book by its cover fool you"

Anyhow, made my night.

I can see merits of some newer things, but I do not prescribe to the notion that all things are better, the newer they are.

I guess it has to do with the fact that I can't really afford new and expensive things and that most people with money tie the worth of things, aka how 'good' they are is directly related to how much was paid for it.
