Another - what is a fair price thread

    I have a 1992 325iC that I'm contemplating selling.

    Details:
    - Convertible (power top works flawlessly, top canvas is ripped badly, lid now closes all the way)
    - Brilliantrot (no dents, only minor dings and paint chips) 8.5/10 paint
    - Tan interior (no rips, minor seam crack in rear seat upper, wear on driver's bolster, slight discoloration) 8.5/10
    - M20 with 5speed (68K miles, new timing belt, plugs, water pump, hoses, belts, you name it) either pilot bearing or throwout bearing chatters a little in neutral
    - AC was recharged and blows cold
    - PS hose has a tiny leak
    - Suspension rubber is showing it age and could use some freshening

The Definitive 1991 M-Technic Thread - a work in progress

Hard to tell from the pictures.... but do yourself a favor and put in matching front grills unless you want to advertise your recent front end collision. Also, it looks like the driver's side of the hood is misaligned and the front end is sitting way high (or the rear is sagging).

What's in your favor are the low miles - assuming it can be verified - manual tranny and a somewhat desireable color combo for a vert. If you want to sell quickly, ask $3500. If you have time and don't mind haggling, start @ $5K and see what happens. Might be a tough sell with a ripped top although maybe in sunny CA it won't matter.
