Possibly Most Expensive Ebay Auction Ever? Ferrari FXX!

Could this be the most expensive ebay auction ever? It started at 1 MILLION and its at 2 now.

lol and the reserve is still not met.

I thought Ferrari chose who owned these few cars and that they would automatically be test drivers? This kinda defeats the purpose and just allows any rich bafoon to own this car that is used mainly for testing purposes? Or maybe I got the gist of it wrong...Correct me.

    Damn. What a fricken vehicle.

I say it sells for $4.2 million. If there were ever a bank that would loan a 19 year old kid $600,000, I would have bought the Enzo immediately and sold it immediately for ~$1.1 million. People make a living buying cars like this and reselling them. A family friend back at home does stuff like this, but not for $millions, he bought a 360 Stradale and made a pretty penny off it on resale.

I have seen $100+ million auctions for land. Even a town was sold on e-bay before...

I saw a Range Rover for sale at $5mil once. Don't know why. It was probably stuffed with coke: and elaborate scheme.

They have safeguards built into the site to prevent you from selling your soul. I haven't actually tried yet but my girlfriend says they do...

No on can be that stupid to pay the through PayPal.

I saw one guy try to sell his soul on ebay, he just wrote a sign-off of all ownership of his soul onto a legal pad and posted it. Got up to $400 before it was removed.

I was thinking about doing that, but in the case that eternal damnation actually did ensue, I'm not sure if I could forgive myself.

Only issue would be that to buy an Enzo you had to be invited during the initial selling of them.

Not to mention the fact that 95% of the Enzos resold within the first year were insurance claims... i.e. fraud attempts. Ferrari required that you "finance" the Enzo for at least one year through Ferrari Finance.

You'll start seeing legit sales pop up here soon as they come up on the end of the first year of financing.

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."
