My first e30 got totalled and there was nothing but crap for sale around me, so I posted a wtb ad on Craigslist and got a ton of hits, found my car over 350 miles away!

My 325 vert was my My father in laws and he just died, i decided I couldn't sell this so decided to fix it up, he wasnt good at maintaining his cars so it needs a bunch of things which I've been buying over the past few days, also been buying things it doesn't need but I want them anyway :)

e30 m3 was my first love and this project should maybe scratch my itch for a while

Had an e46 m3 a few years ago, now have a modded 996 turbo and a b7s4, feels great to be back in a bimmer again

the first car just happened. the second, i guess i debated over buying another e30 for about 4 months. i was passively searching during that time period, and then found and finalized the trip to go pick it up within weeks.

my criteria was different because i wanted a project, but it basically had to be complete and not have any rust. i pretty much got that, and by parting out the things i'm not using for it's 'finalized' iteration, i made money on the car.

I wasn't even looking, and someone gave it to me for free.

the M3 was also not looking for, it found me.

When you dont NEED one, they are all over the place and cheap. When you NEED a Specific one like a mint RED 325IS 5 speed late model, it took about a 1 1/2 years to find her and a flight up to OREGON, only to have some ASSHOLE from back east to smash into it in front of my house.....
