Check out this interpretation of a modern E30

although the concept may have some likes on its own, i dont understand why its a new e30.
isnt it really impossible to have a new classic?
like a newer hotter mona lisa? sure she would look better with some boobs, puffier lips, hair extensions and teeth whiting so she wouldnt be ashamed to smile....wait... ignore this example.
but even when you add some body kits imho it takes something away from the original.
do you think that any other forum gets so twisted when someone adds a volvo lip instead of an oem one? or calls an airbag steering wheel 'a blob of gay'?
and a new 1 series is the new e30.....never....there was a pic that had them side by side and the 1 looked like crap.
i wouldnt mind having a new 1 series but its not reborn e30.

Needs toning down (I mean what the fuck is that shit on the fenders!?!) but it could be ok.

Seems funny all the design studios feverishly repackaging the great creations from years past. I like the new Mustang but Ford has been selling '68 Stangs for the last dozen years now. Can't think of any great new designs that don't sell for at least six figures. Not that there aren't any nice looking cars, but none that stand out.
