WD-40 will also dissovle silly putty or in my case therapy putty. I had an asshole roommate who's dog got a hold of some then proceeded to chew it up on my couch. I had 50 little spots of green putty bonded to my couch slip cover (ikea couches).

Doused it with WD-40 and patted it up with paper towels, bam! Gone!

The only thing I dont agree with is a lubricant. While it may work for a little while, it usually just displaces grease and other correct lubricants reasulting in more wear and noise.

I used to "wash" my racecar down in it after a Saturday night race. Its awesome for removing scuff marks from flying tire chunks

WD-40 is good for protecting and displacing moisture as it was designed to do. PB is a great penetrant and lubricant, I've yet to try Kroil.

I'll be the one to say it: Kroil is better than both of them. (As a penetrant)

    #43 should be #1 reason.

    Also:
    44) Makes a kick ass flame thrower if ignited while spraying.
    45) Spray on old, oxidized carbon fiber to look almost new again.

Do 45 life hacks listed here, including deterring pigeons, really only require a can of WD-40?
