    e36 M3 For Sale...opinions?

Is it worth that money for the 136,000 miles and auto? I'd offer 4k and see where we get from there.

On the local forum he says this...

    Boston Green
    E46 M3 Wheels (not replica's)
Auto Tranny (still very engaging with manual, sport and econ settings)
    Clean title
    MP3 Player
    H&R Coilover kit
    Achellis Tires,
    Winter Rims
    Black kidney grills
    Dual Climate control
    heated seats
    moonroof

Really tempting for me...I don't mind the auto...but how reliable is it?

uh id say that looks nice for an e36, and thats a good deal.
auto is so fail tho.... definitely lowers the value of the car IMO

Ya, I love the wheel setup actually....never thought I would like e46 wheels on the e36

        My opinion:
        1) e36 m3's are only good as a driver's car, and the auto basically cancels that out

        2) those e46 m3 wheels are some of the ugliest wheels BMW ever put on their cars
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

          thats fuckin gorgeous.

          Auto ruins it.

          4k seems reasonable.

good point on number 1 but number 2 your failing.
i never liked them much to begin with but they look quite at home on the e36.

Haha, I know everyones against the auto. I have the 5 speed e30 right now and I commute 2 hours every weekend. But during the week I only take public transit. I never thought I'd say this but the manual does get annoying in the heavy Vancouver traffic...thats the only reason I'd even consider the auto.

They're better on an e36 than an e46, but they wouldn't sway a buying decision for me.

Looks like a pretty solid deal actually for a low milage car. All the sedans still around seem to always be autos. You can swap it though
