Saw a BMW Z8 on the way to get groceries

license plate was "BOND Z8" and was driven by some 30ish year old white guy. I asked him "Is this real life?" when I pulled next to him and proceeded to tell him it was a wet dream came true. I even asked if he'd pull into the upcoming parking lot and let me take pics and check it out. He said he had to go to some softball game (gay) and zoomed off.

I should've given chase in the Evo and blown his doors off, but regardless, what a fucking amazing car and truly a rare sight to see.

I knew a guy who had one and mobbed around in it. I got a ride in it back when I was like 17, was pretty fast and pretty loud. Fun little car, though as I understand they are kinda confused when it comes to their purpose.

Seen them several times, there are a few here in Bend. I like the Z4M Coupe much better, and they seem even more rare as I've never actually seen one in person I don't think. lol

There is a Z8 sitting in front of me at work everyday.

Needless to say, the novelty has worn off, but it's still a sensation when the cover gets pulled back and you see that 507-esque nose peek out.

I've driven a few different Z8s over the years. I think they drive great, and the V8 rummble from the exhaust with the top down is unreal.



and no bullshit...... I drove Mario Theissen's (fromer BMW formula 1 boss) Z8 after I fixed it (the EWS-DME lost it code) even have a pic somewhere too.

I would rather have a z1. I dont see why the z8 demands so many $$$$s
