criagslist find. Figured someone would be interested.

Up for sale is my German grey market BMW 6 series.

    The good:

    Euro Spec 230 horsepower engine
Close ratio German 5 speed transmission
All paperwork going back to 1979
In relatively good shape given its age

    The Bad:

It hasn't been driven or started in 3+ years

Make me an offer on this beautiful old car. It's a project I no longer have time for, so you're unlikely to be refused.

that six is almost exactly the same as mine, just a year off and with a better-shape body. that's a great price for it, esp. with a dogleg transmission.

On my bucket list of upgrades to any car: Dogleg transmission. A buddy has one in his M535i, it's just so awesome.

The only other things of substantial value in that car are the euro bumpers (including the less-desirable very early rear as opposed to the wrap-around one) and the M90 (sweet M30 variant with 93.7mm pistons and short-stroke rods/crank)... everything else has a very small market, unfortunately. I'd take the passenger door, heh.

Yes, and the motor + bumps can double your money ($500).

It also might have a rare sideloader LSD, those can fetch up to 500.
