Need help finding a stock sounding, dual tip muffler for...

    Hey guys, I have an 85 325e with a 2 1/4"
    exhaust with a flowmaster muffler.
Lately I have grown tired of the noise.

So I am looking for a stock sounding muffler with dual tips and a single 2 1/4" inlet.

Did any e30 come with a muffler described above?

Anyone know where I can find one of these?

    Thanks alot

no but you can get a used 325 exhaust system from the manifolds back.

There are aftermarket systems that have single inlet to dual but I am certain that 99.999% of what you will find is going to be louder.
    Im now E30less.

Ansa exhausts are the aftermarket exhaust that most resembles the stock exhaust.

Supersprint makes a single in, dual outlet muffler for the 325e, and supersprint is known for being a quiet aftermarket exhaust. Costs around $450-500 I believe.

What a ripoff. I would get a whole stock 325i system maybe. Check ebay.

Basically I just want to cut the flowmaster off and clamp on a different muffler.
There's gotta be a place that sells just regular, universal mufflers with a single 2 1/4" inlet and dual outlet. Anybody? Where do muffler shops get their parts?
It would be sick if I could just get a supersprint muffler with no pipes attached.
I need something that looks like this:
