Am I a complete moron for wanting an 850Ci? From what I've heard,
it's 2 M20s mushed together and there's 2 of everything (batteries, FI)..
But it looks so good..
If I found one for $8k with documented maintenance and 112k miles would I be fool to buy it?

depends on what you want the car to be..

Daily driver prob not unless you get the v8 which is a much more reliable engine but still isn't the best on gas.

weekend car that you don mind putting money into yea perfect fit.
