    Engine bay thoughts

Sooo... I have a few thoughts but was wondering what you guys had in mind for ways to clean up the engine bay. Still running with the stock m20. I already am working on painting the valve cover and intake manny. But want more suggestions from there

Just physically cleaning it will go a long way if the paint's in good condition. Get 318i plastics and then go from there.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Remove or relocate as many things as possible. The less "stuff" in the engine bay, the less cluttered it looks.

        remove all stickers.

Most are worn-looking and serve little purpose anyway.. helps with decluttering.

I am in the process of doing the same. I heat shrunk stuff and used corrugated plastic on some other parts. My bay is white and super dirty so I have been degreasing and cleaning for the past couple weeks. After It's as clean as it will get I will take some polishing compound and hit the wells to take that top layer of embedded crud off.

E30 M3 wiring covers look great in the M20 bay.

Pressure washer works wonders when paired with some heavy duty over cleaner/degreaser.

E30 M3 harness covers, M42 radiator (built in expansion tank), delete AC, delete cruise control, relocate the coil somewhere else.
