Had a friends racing operation stole late last night/early this morning from a hotel pparking lot in valdosta. It's a red 40ft trailer, red late model dodge dually, and the race car is a red dodge dakota that was running 4.70 and no mercy this past weekend. Any info will be a huge help.




They have a red golf cart with aluminum wheels on it, and the cart is wrapped to match the truck... Be on the lookout, for the golf cart as it would be easy to sell.

exit 22 on i75 in valdosta at the Howard Johnson.. Was there at 11.00 pm, gone at 6.30am

Wow! How does someone make off with all that equipment under the noses of the owner(s)? Gonna go pour some cement around the tires on my e30. Jeeze-us this blows! Im on the west coast , but will still keep my eyes peeled. You never know what may turn up on Craigslist.

While I do find your confidence in our ability to recover said equipment touching, I think it's also a little misguided. What do you propose we (as civilians) do? Citizen's arrest?

I do hope you get it back, really I do, and... I'm not trying to demean anyone, but... you called the police, right? First?

At best they'll get the GBI on it. This is huge. At worst they'll put out an alert or something.

Am I the only one who feels that posting grand theft auto on R3V is going to accomplish little, if anything, by way of recovering the goods?

I'm not proposing that anyone do ANYTHING BUT call the police and the contact #'s listed. All appropriate actions including a police report by the parties involved have been taken. I am only trying to spread the word in a car culture that my drag racing community might not have interest in or access to. The more eyes the better. If it was my equipment I would feel the same. I'm in Australia so won't be much help but are there any defining features on the car, besides the body? I know nothing of NHRA drag cars but it looks to be tube framed so they could remove the body?
