    R-Tek work experance I supose?

So there is a race company called R-Tek in Adelaide http://www.r-tek.com.au/shop.html

and I read this article about them. http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/business/sa-business-journal/r-tek-adelaides-motorsport-success/story-e6fredel-1226486004218

It seems like he does not have enough money to employee people full time, so this is where I have had an idea. In my constant quest for knowledge in the race car building world, I would like to offer Ian Richards help free of charge in exchange for teaching me the ways of the Jedi racer.

My problem is I have very little experience, I mean I can use a torque wrench and can rebuild a stock engine, but have not done anything in the performance side of things. Do you think I am wasting my time, or would this be the opportunity of a life time?

What does R3V think? I know I am really just procrastinating but whatever.

Give it a go...worst thing you'll get is that awkward look, a long pause, and a NO.

Best case is you just got yourself some solid learnin ahead.

Do you have pictures and examples of your work? That will help.

This. Go talk to the guy, see what happens, could be awesome, could just be a 'no'.
