In Canada if someone calls you in for driving recklessly the provincial police send you a *gasp* letter. My principle in highschool drove a 80s diesel Jetta. He had to plug it in all day to start it and go home. Always black smoke all over the parking lot when he left. If he was an asshole that day we just unplugged his car at lunch and he couldnt go home.

I remember getting a really snotty letter from the DMV when I had four points on my license telling me how bad of a driver I was. I think I wound up doing a brakestand on it.

What a big f**king joke. Ignore the letter.

This is like being reported for drunk driving when you are not drunk at all.
Some waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles called me in as a drunk driver because he did not like me driving at 65mph at 2 am on 15 South. Got pulled over twice that night and had to give sobriety test once.

If you say it doesn't smoke because you don't see smoke in the rear view mirror you can't actually be sure it isn't making smoke. Have a friend follow the car to see if it is smoking.
