Fuse to 12V accessory keeps blowing

Sounds like a short to me. I would check the wiring leading to the socket and look for a loose connection/worn area.

Thanks for the input. I'll be doing that when I get off from work. I still think its wierd because the car charger for my phone works without any problems.
