Good to know that I'm not the only one that's hooked into this car. I love it and I just want more. The barrier to entry (Cost wise) is so cheap that it's only after the fact that the cost starts to sink in.
How are you guys handling insurance for multi cars? Those of you that have 3-4 of these e30s. Full coverage on all??

OP, I had an e46 a long time ago and then I bought an e30 just like you. I then just never drove the e46 because the e30 is so damn awesome so I sold the e46. Now I have 2 e30s. One is engine swapped and one is soon to be also engine swapped with also coil overs and lots of cool stuff. I'm completely obsessed with e30s now and a good portion of my income goes towards my e30s. I don't regret getting into e30s at all.
As far as having one car vs two there are good arguments for both.
Having two cars you can drive one while working on the other and vice versa. You can also go the route of making one more street friendly and one more of a track car.
On the other hand, with having only one car you can focus all your time and money on it and have a way better e30 than you would have splitting your time and money between two.
I would just sell the e90 and focus on the e30. The e30 is more worthy of putting money into anyway.

OP, you need to sell that e90 and put the money into the e30. Then you will be happy. Only then.

I bought a 325e as a beater for $325 so I didn't wear down my M3 too much years back. I ended up sinking like 3-4 grand into it as well as doing a complete I drive train swap.

I bought my 4th e30 in 3 1/2 years in July.We broke our racecar and our track rat last friday at a HPDE and had to make 2 trips to tow them both home,we think it cost us about 1k so far,but we spent the whole 18 hr day laughing our heads off.
My advice:Get that e30 to the track as soon as possible, drive the snot out of it until it breaks, sell your house, trade the e90 for a truck and trailer and live in the truck underneath a bridge to afford more e30 parts.

Today we decided to re-install the heater box and dash. I thought I would clean out the heater box and ended up replacing the ac evaporator and the heater core....$375.00....lol
