    If you can only "afford" an m50 swap, I wouldn't be swapping any kind of engine in there. Doesn't sound like you're leavin much of a buffer zone in case something goes south on the swap itself while you're in there. M42's are so nice and nimble anyways. Keep it.

    Sometimes I wish I had a totally stock car on the side to enjoy.

      I swapped in a M42 from an M20 and have no regrets!

            Fix the m42, re-seal it and get it ready for boost.... add boost later on when you have the funds!

              It's not that I can't afford more, it comes down to how much I'm wanting to spend right now.

              Re-seal and tune up it is. Thanks for the input guys
