    New young E30 owner!

Today I bought an 1987 325I and joined this forum!

I guess I will start with me... My names Tyler, nice to meet you all, and I'm 18 and I have always loved e30's and now I have a chance to make one mine!

Anyway the stuff you care about:
Just picked up an 97 e30 with 122k miles for $1800
It has ebachi (sp?) lowering springs and some muffler on it with racing seats and a black interior. It was originally silver but a previous owner painted it metallic blue.
    Pictures! http://photobucket.com/E30lovin

    In the future:
    Wheels/suspension (Stanced)
    Bolt-on mods
Straightening out all the small odds and ends
After a while probably an engine swap or turbo
Annnnd what ever else I happen to find along the way.

Before anything, timing belt, tensioner, water pump and whatever else maintenance needs to get done. Everything else can come later

If I were you, I'd put off critical maintenance items such as timing belt, water pump, and tensioner for other palpable modifications such as BC coilovers or a rusted hood.

Sand it and dip in plastadip. Or sand and spray with that rubber in a can maybe.
