Why the red line on the speedo?

55 is the limit on alot of highways in MA still

Where is that?? The Mass pike is 65 and so is I91 I95 128 and variety of other roads in Mass.

I465 - the loop around Indianapolis is still 55.....but everyone goes 70 regardless - that's just the flow of traffic.

But anyway, I'd think it'd be cool if I still had my door dinger so I could use the Max Speed or whatever feature of my OBC. Having a beep everytime I crossed my limit of velocity I wanted to travel: pretty cool.

But I think the 55 mark wasn't a bad idea, it reminds people when things might get hairy, and to keep them informed about likely speed limits.
