Rant on parts prices in AUS.

So went to a car shop called Autobarn just to see what price they would give me on shocks for a E36 318i. So......

$590 for 2 Monroe Front Shocks
$500 for 2 Monroe Rear Shocks

    Total $1090

Compared to something like $470 for all 4 saches and Boge shocks from pleican parts.

I nearly passed out. Anyways that really grinds my gears and non of you guys give a rats ass because you all live in the United fucking States of Merica.

Looks like I will be adding shocks to my mighty order to blunt.

It's too keep all you hooners from getting parts for your cars. They just haven't filled the Blunt void yet. Just wait, your tumbling prime minister will think something up!

I had a customer in Germany who wanted a new M10 crank. Turned out there was one left in the dealer system, it was in Germany. However, it was cheaper for us to have it shipped here (from Germany) and then for us to ship it to the customer than it was for him to go to his local dealer.

              crazy.

Buy from the US and ship it over to you and you still come out ahead.

Got a pair of monroes a few months ago. 20 bucks for the pair, brand new.

I should start ranting about not being able to buy a Holden.

You Aussie boys need to get onto the e30zone classifieds, plenty of folk with too much scrap to sell on there!

It's all RHD scrap on there too

Maybe because they sell bad, considering you don't need shocks when you car's upside down.
Or the shocks themselves are mounted upside down, thus they are all custom made.

Do all the US places ship internationally?

                            (Pelican, TRM, BMA, Bimmerworld, etc)
