    What to do with a late model E30 bare shell?

    This car took a hit in the LF, enough to push the strut tower into the fuse block and wedge the Vacuum booster. From the firewall back it's ridiculously mint.

    I've been told that perhaps there may be some track car guys who would want it? To put in a new clip and race?

    I was also thinking of taking the sawzall and cutting the Rockers, floorpans, roof, quarter panels and rear valence and selling them.

    So I suppose this is a "feeler"/opinion poll. I didn't know exactly where to place it. And before too many folks get all excited, I'm in WA state.

    At this time I'm not looking for offers, I'm just looking for experienced opinions on the options mentioned.

              just had this happen to me. the time to cut it up was not worth it when trying to make a buck on it, so I gave the shell away for free (to someone who bought a bunch of other parts). lots of people in the community have been generous to me, so I try to pass it along!

                                              This but reverse. Do the front as a grill and the trunk as a trailer...

                                              Obviously you would cut the hood in half or else you'll have a huge fucking grill (which isn't per se a bad thing)

                                                          Illest I'll take a pic later today, when I roll it out of the shop. I still have a few odds and ends to strip out of it.

                                                          straight6, thanks for the insight. This kind of info is what I was hoping for.

                                                          While the thought of "Tubing and Tubbing" has a lot of appeal to me, I really can't justify such a project at this time.
