replace back seat with roll cage?

my back seats are just something i tend to see when i look at my r.v mirror.. very pointless seats, the car is to small to fit people back there.. so I was wondering if any of you know of a roll bar/cage that fitss up to the back of the car.. help of guy out! thanks

get fixed back driver and passenger seat too. I'd hate to see how your brain would look like in an accident

I am doing a full custom cage, but I own a welder and a tubing bender. So it is very easy for me. Not sure what is out there on the market. I know Vac motorsport sells a bolt in. So does Autopower and maybe Guten parts is a vendor for someone? I forget.

Gutenparts does sell them but they don't ship, best bet is to have one made for your car

Here is a 6pt cage for under 900.00

LPI Racing offers the parts you need to take your car to the track and the gear to keep you safe. We also have high performance parts for your street or sports car.

My honest advice is, do you REALLY need it? Will you be putting your e30 into stressful track use?

make sure to get the weld-in cage, bolt-in cages are not as safe and if you are going to get a cage you might as well make it as safe as possible.

Dude just build the rollbar yourself, it very easy. Just go down to Home Depot and get some PVC.. there is a DIY on R3v somewhere.

PVC is really the way to go, very lightweight.

Leave the seats if your not doing any kind of track driving and arent going to be running harnesses and fixed back seats. Theres plenty of room in the back of an e30 unless your friends are all obese.
