Java Grip. Company is out of business, but it holds my thermos mug or any fastfood drink of normal size.

My first E30 came with this setup and i LOVE IT. I get comments on it all the time. I think someone should reproduce these. Easy to install/remove, and doesn't look gawdy or anything. Makes a great holder for your phone/ipod unless you have a HUGE phone.

Works well and is less than $10, plus it folds up nice and tidy when not in use.

Here's mine. E46 - fits well with almost no space between the 2 cups, plus it keeps it factory Both cups clear the dash, and I've got a shortshifter so no banging the knuckles. The hole is for the lighter/power outlet.

It's going from my previous car into the current one here.
