I got all the way to chardon Ohio and cruising at 70 MPH on the highway I heard BANG. Now I only have 4th gear. I drove out here to pick up an s50 andand my friend who's selling it to me found a guy with a g260.. might be installing it tonight in mu buddies garage. I'm pulling this trailer but wtf how does every gear just grenade besides 4th???

I know 4th is direct drive so should it stay useable in 4th at least until I get it to a place to fix it? This guy wants 350 for the trans which seems silly since I couldn't sell my whole 5 speed swap for that much in NY. And yes I still have the 5 speed swap all sitting 500 miles away at home. Doesn't that suck?Comment

Got a trans. Friend let me use his lift and tools at a brand new shop that's not even done yet. Super grateful for his help( he's the same Guy I got the s 50 from). I'm back on the road and pulling a trailer full of s50 and broken e30 trans. The weather forecast is grim though with hurricane sandy.. so NY is closing the bridges and tunnels so I'm a bit stuckComment
