    Car Parts = Body Parts

So lately I have been try to relate certain car parts to the human body. Not just stuff like the engine is the heart. More in depth and detailed. For example, Headlights could be eyes, ABS sensors could be part of the nervous system, exhaust....wel you know. So I thought instead of me thinking about this on my own, I would get some input from you guys and I guess make this into a little game.

So which car parts resemble body parts?

I'll try my best to update the thread and create a list so we don't have repeats.

    GO.

I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

IF the fenders are the hips then the wheels and tires are the hands and feet, therefore it follows that the tire tread is the finger print.

In that analogy, wouldn't the engine be more like the stomach?
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

I've recently thought the engine itself could be humanzed.

                Heart-pistons
                Blood-heart
                Brain-ecu
                Cooling system-circulatory system
                Intake/exhaust system (obvious)
                Fuel-nurition

It also needs love and exercise or it won't work properly.

In actuality though, any beautiful engineering (system) is inherently designed with a human likeness.

I think it would be more practical for the gas tank to be the stomach. Since the car gets its energy from fuel, in which it is stored in the gas tank (stomach), then "processed" (intestines) via fuel pump to deliver energy to the engine.

I think he was referring to the rear quarter panels being the hips.

it is, but you have to talk to them first. Just met a new girl last week, all I did was ask her what was in this shot (some special shot on wall) and convo flowed.

suspension and all that jazz could be the muscular system.

frame rails and main strong points of frame = skeletal.

the A/C could be part of the nervous system, because it cools you down like sweat.

cant really think of anything else.

paint is skin? lol made to protect and make look good.

What about the other big stuff? Like the windows, doors, sunroof and other interior parts? Lol bearings could be the cartilage. Fuel and oil lines could be arteries.
