So my daily driver is the butt ugly 2002 Honda Civic SI. The car has 155k.

I hate my daily. It is boring, it is not me. It may be the ugliest car on the road, I've owned it since I was 21. I'm 28 now, I need a change.

I am going to have a detailed convo about the car tonight. What questions should I be asking outside of the normal tires, brakes rust, recent work ect? How should I know when to run away...

Turn the hood vertical, Take a paper towel and stick it between the cyl head and firewall, as far down as you can go by the head gasket. If you find fresh wet oil, knock $1000 off the asking price. It needs a head gasket. On the M104 headgasket the oil usually leaks from the hole in the far lower right corner. It either goes into the coolant or out the back of the engine. Its almost standard issue to replace the HG every 100k. There is an updated version of the HG that is less likely to leak.

W124's are pretty solid rides, but check that HG like tjts mentioned. I see them as the "other" version of the W201 and possibly the E30's evil (but worthy) cousin. lol

I sold my lightely modded ep3 last year for 8500 with 105k on the clock. Bro you need to evaluate how much your car is worth.

Ha. My EP3 is in great shape, all stock, motor pulls like new, everything is nice on it no rust. New tires, new brakes, rotors, calipers and just did $500 worth of sensors. Has very light hail damage. You can only see it at slight angles, couple pings here and there. I think I'm better off holding out and driving it through the winter.

I have a new sales job and I drive a lot in Boston, the 5spd is just getting lame. 5spd for E30. I want autotragic for my daily and I want German. What would be better w124 or well taken care of e36 325i?

Yours looks great. I'm def not keeping mine though, like I said I want 4 doors and and automatic for my daily.
My E30 is more comfortable and rides better than my EP. I do have sport seats though.
