What's going on guys. Buying a 1990 325i. Runs strong and is in good shape. Any suggestions on what I should do first!? I have about a grand left over. Let me know what you guys think!

I could spend a good pinch of money on maintenance items.
H&R are good springs as well as Bilstein shocks to get you lowered on the quick and cheap.
Honestly though, spend that grand on maintenance. You will enjoy it more in the long run.My previous build (currently E30-less)

IMO the only reason to go with H&R/Bilstein over GC/Koni (basic street kit) is for points in autocross/track events. You'll enjoy the coilovers much better, they're adjustable in height and dampening, and you can pick any spring rates you want. Koni dampers are significantly better than bilsteins (other than custom valved setups). Price wise it's like $150 difference. The first car I ever rode in was an e30
