It's not even the same engine! It's much better and turbo'd. Plus the suspension has been thoroughly upgraded with new shocks and springs, sway bars, steering gear, different steering knuckles and it has better brakes. It is barely even the same car anymore.

I've never been a mustang fan but the new concept looks pretty badass, and is supposed to be a major upgrade in handling with independent rear suspension.

Honda's H22A engine , an N/A 4 cylinder makes 215hp

Dodge's SRT-4 engine, a 4 cylinder turbocharged engine.... makes 230hp.

Subaru's turbocharged 4 cylinder makes 330hp.

Its a terribly engineered, pathetic excuse of a "performance" engine inside a FWD girl's car. Plus they always sound like total shit while their douche-nozzle owner pilots them down the road.

EDIT: I seriously don't know how Chrysler manages such a small amount of power out of a turbo 4-banger. Seriously. I could make a better engine in my basement.

You guys are all fucking retarded if you think the srt4 is worthless. Sure it doesn't handle that well, but it got to 60 in under 6 seconds (with fwd) and cost under 20 grand brand new. And that motor is a HELL of a lot faster than an h22 or s14. It would take 5 grand into one of those motors to maybe keep up with the silly fwd "230hp" srt4.

I wouldn't buy one, but I can appreciate what it is, and that is bang for your buck. As I recall they make about 230 at the wheels bone stock, with a lot of torque and a lot of headroom.

Their owners ARE usually douchebags though.
