    Been thinking of that mod on my touring, then i realised i get 12mpg and thats good enough.

          my 325is manages 25MPG highway. I was using it to commute back and forth 60 miles a day to work. Thats good nuff for me.

                Raising that 25 MPG to, an easily attainable, 30 MPG would only have saved you like $400, after taxes, a year.

                  I agree. But, changing the shape of a car for better aerodynamics is the entire point for aeromoding. Lots of room for improvement with an e30. Woop, woop!
