As far as I know, theres nothing that would allow a break in from the sideskirts or underneath the vehicle. Not likely a bullet hole. Most likely road damage or odd act of vandalism. Just fix it and be done.

It doesn't look intentional. If you're going to vandalize a car, you don't poke a little hole near the bottom.

Lol. I have an extra e30 trunk lid I was going to shoot different rounds into to see what the results was.

no exit hole that I can see.. its metal behind the plastic skirt

I did a test with a drill and some plastic and it had similar results but didnt leave a huge flap like this is on the car

What makes me think it wasnt something accidental is the hole is just to clean. There are no dents or dings/scratches anywhere around the hole. I feel like if something were to hit the car on the freeway it would mark up the car a bit more

I am almost certain its not a bullet.. I dont see anything behind the skirt to show damage or anything. I wanted to shoot it myself to find out with a few calibers but my mom said fuck no lol. She is gonna take it in to get replaced so will see what the tech thinks
