Sorry guys, little late to this. We decided to not run a Black Friday sale this year and spend the time with our families instead (and as a result maintained our sanity).
I'm sure you'd rather hear about a discount code rather than my son's encounter with a Bobcat while camping in Yosemite, but that's the deal this year.

We were staying in one of the Curry Village heated canvas tents (not the insulated ones that came with a free dose of hantavirus). Nights were below freezing, but the days were up to lower 50's. It was nice not to have the summer crowds.
My son and the bobcat...
Rowan will be two years old in a couple months, and has recently learned the word "kitty". He's used to petting cats and all that jazz. On the second morning we get up and start to head out the door to get some breakfast. Packed the little guy up in his snow pants over his fleece pajamas, and then turned back into the tent to grab something real quick. In that second, with my back turned, I hear him say "kitty!" ( think Disney's "Monsters") and the zip-zip sound of his pants as he took off. Look up to see him booking it toward a rather angry looking bobcat with arms outstretched. The father-instinct kicked in and I yelled and took off after him, luckily Rowan stopped and the cat took off. Had a little heart-attack.
Apparently the camp staff is being rather lenient towards bobcats around the tents to help keep the deer-mice population in check.
