Another small update.
I have included a map to make it easier to search by state. Simply click on the state you want to search and it will bring up E30's for sale in that state.
You can see it by clicking here.
Map of Canada coming soon...

A lot of people had that same issue which is understandable. This is always what I had planned for the site, it just took longer then I expected.
Glad you like it!

 Great Site. Thank you very much!
I've been surfing for BC cars without finding any. On your site you have 4 in the top row. You might have made my spring expensive.Leave a comment:

I like. My issue before was looking through whole posts to see regions. I like this better now.Leave a comment:

I have a small update regarding the site.
As of today I am doing a separate post per car. This means there will not be a daily list anymore.
When you visit the site, you will see that each car has a picture and a description (year, model, body style, location, and price). To see the original ad for the car, just click on the picture or description and click on "View Original Ad".
Searching will now only bring up single post cars and not lists.
Finally, when I find an ad that does not have a picture then those posts will have the site logo as a picture. You can still click on it to view the original ad.
Have a look and let me know what you think!Leave a comment:

I wanted to give everyone a small update about the site.
Currently there is a submission form on the 'Information' page where someone can submit an E30 they have for sale. Up until now when I received submissions I would add those cars to 'The List'.
What I am now going to be doing is giving any car that is submitted its own individual post. I will also be moving the submission form to a separate page where it should be easier to find.
These aren't huge changes but they are the first of a few changes that I will be making over the next few weeks that I feel are needed to improve the site.
Thanks again for all of the support and suggestions!Leave a comment:

Add the following code to your header:
<meta name="viewport" content="width=1020" />
You should be able to do this right from your dashboard under your theme settings, but if not you'll need to find your header php file and just plug it in from the back end. You can change the "width" to whatever you like, but 1020 will do the trick. Regular computer browsers will ignore that script, but what it allows is for your page to be displayed correctly on an ipad and iphone (although I see you are running a mobile script for displaying on an iphone).
To orginize your posts a little more you can try the following:
Instead of creating new posts, you can create different pages for different regions and then link each page on your menu at the top. When you want to add a new "list" or "post," simply edit the regional page you want and within post your new list at the top.
This shouldn't be too much different then what you are doing now, except now you have to take one extra step and add your list(s) to the correct regional pages.
I hope that makes sense. I know you are trying to avoid having to post each car individually, so hopefully this isnt too bad for ya.Leave a comment:

Thanks!
Every car listed will remain on the site and not be deleted. I am working on a way to make it easier for someone to search through old posts at the moment.
I do like the way that site is set up and I could set mine up in a similar way. However the problem is that it takes much more time to list each car individually then it does to list them in one post.Great website/idea!
I realize it's in the early stages, and i mean this in the most constructive way, but maybe you could model your website off of http://www.mcoupebuyersguide.com
It's a lot more user-friendly, and you can then track e30 price trends and list them per mileage/region/condition etc.
It may not seem like a big deal but my site is updated every day as opposed to once a week. Also on that site there seems to be about 8 cars posted each week and some of them are repeats. On my site I list about 30 new E30's each day.
I do want to have each car separated, but I need to figure out a way that I can do it that would be both easy for a user to view them, and efficient time wise for me to list them.
Until I find that solution the best way to use my site is to check "The List" daily and that will allow you to see all newly listed cars for that day. You'll be up to date on what's available and then you can look further into any cars that you are interested in.
Thanks for the feedback I do appreciate it!Leave a comment:

Are you archiving all the sale ads? Would make a great resource for insurance claims, being as how many of us have $30K+ into these cars with a KBB value of $3K.Leave a comment:

The updated format is still up for today. Please have a look and let me know if this is a better or easier way to view the site.
I changed the format quickly so there are a few issues with the way it looks but they will be fixed if it stays this way.
Thanks!Leave a comment:

Yeah, the car's still for sale. I really like the idea as it'll help when I get back into an e30 down the road.Leave a comment:
