Castro Motorsport: The Saul Castro Memorial Fund

Hi Everyone,

So, as many of you know, Chris Castro's father - Saul Castro - unfortunately passed away on Thursday Nov. 15, 2012, after battling an aggressive case of terminal pancreatic cancer. This came as a huge shock to the Castro family, both emotionally and financially, especially following the recent funeral services.

In an effort to help the Castro family recuperate financially from this tragedy, I've set up a donation fund through Paypal for them. All proceeds go directly to Gera Castro's checking account.

Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated, as the family was not financially prepared for such an expense. While money may not help their pain and grieving, it will definitely help in other ways.

I lost my dad to brain cancer almost a year ago. The generosity of others during that time was very humbling and very much appreciated.
This is a very good thing to do and hopefully I am able to donate. I hope others will too.
Cancer is such a terrible thing.

Losing someone that is truly loved is probably one of the most difficult experiences a person can go through in their lifetime. In terms of emotional pain there is nothing that can compare to it.

I wish I had been able to make it to the funeral. Saul was a fantastic man and left a big impression on my life. I will miss him greatly. When I have some extra cash I'll send it their way.
