Look back at early episodes of Seinfeld or any series for that matter.. they seem awkward and contrived. To be honest this video felt a little like that But it takes characters time to find their groove. I think this is the case with this video. With some proper direction i bet it could be good. Good luck to all involvedComment

"Beemer" was horrible. I can support some of the concepts, but I have no interest in some weenie wanting to sell his speakers. I would be embarassed if that aired as-is. Kind of like I'm embarassed for that kid wanting to start the clothing line, "intellectual swagger". Its just too gay.S50'd

Finally watch the video... I think it has potential. I kinda has a Pawns Stars meets car show with a Bavarian twist. I hope it takes off but they are gonna have to really step up material in terms of history, M-cars, 24v swaps, Spec e30, turbo builds etc

I love how "Ray Ray" drives his e36 like he thinks it is low xD. Before anyone says shit...he went over the speed bump.
I went back and watched past your opening fist bump(that made me laugh hard). Everything has been said above me. As a fellow BMW e30 owner and "hotrodder" I would not watch that.

I can foresee it becoming less about the business or the cars and more of just a show. Just like Pawn Stars/American Chopper, etc. It seems to me that the business either becomes secondary to the show or that they are run separately yet simultaneously. For all things 24v, check out Markert Motorworks!Originally posted by mbonanniI hate modded emtree, I hate modded cawrz, I hate jdm, I hate swag, I hate stanceyolokids, I hate bags (on cars), I hate stuff that is slowz, I hate tires.

This is how I know I am old.
We used to have a term for this video.
When in the first minute you get the pose thing and dribble out "beemer". You lost me. Close window this just sux. Have respect for the brand and what ever net work is even considering this as a show. (I just think they are being very liberal in the dream spinning)
Poseur or how ever you kids spell it--
Like the concept, but should follow the pro 3 teams around.
No offense but the pretentious 'oh my god it's bimmer' is kind of lame. It's more of a regional thing. For instance, Rob(who is a good friend and Consignment Shed sponsors my ChumpCar) is from New York, and in his group of friends and people he knows no one says bimmer. It's mixed here in Atlanta. I know what a BMW car and bike is. I understand the difference.
However they told me in my interview do not say BMW. Everyone had been saying beamer so I just followed along. Oh well. It's as bad as the guys who don't even own a Porsche correcting people on how to properly say the brand's name. Boohoo. If you tell a random person on the street you have a beamer they know EXACTLY what you have.
It was fun to be a part of it. I'm in the pitch(interview, driving at Road Atlanta and my car is in some cut scenes). I hope it takes off. I can be one of the cool drop in characters :)Comment

If Aussie V8 Supercars, BTCC, DTM and WTCC can't get decent traction here, plus the fact that there's practically zero coverage of ChumpCar, LeMons, NASA or SCCA racing on TV and little more on the web, a regionally confined spec series certainly isn't the answer.Comment
