Nice car for sure, interior is a little over the top, but it should pull plenty of poon. Of the newer BMW's I'd consider purchasing it would be the e92 coupe, based on how it looks.

And I actually believe that most of the people who automatically hate and negatively criticize all the new BMW's do so because they know that they cannot afford them. What's it called when you hate or don't like something that you know you can never afford or that you can't have?

I'm going to point out, at least in my case, that new BMW's are pretty bad. I am not a fan of most new cars in general, due to the typical complaints. Large, ugly, bloated, complicated, etc.

I think that the vast majority of cars made today are made to last for much shorter time span than their older counterparts. We live in a throw away society and new cars clearly show that. Things like wifi, facebook, and dvd players really have no place in an automobile.

The industry is also plagued with active safety features mandated due to neglecting drivers that are next to redundant. Pair these with safety design mandates and the raw driving experience is minimized.

Between driving things like the E46 and the E90, I find the E46 not only more enjoyable, but also much better put together. This is not to say there isn't any good new cars, the Cadillac ATS is one of my current favorite car.

This is a pretty blanketed statement. I bet you would find a lot of reasons people here don't purchase newer BMW's. I bet you would also be surprised by how many people do own newer BMW's along with their E30's.

Most of the cars of the 80's all looked the same, just like most of the cars in the 90's and today...and even in the 50's it's hard to tell cars apart, especially American cars.

I love how people claim car manufacturers have "blatantly copied designs of another manufacturer". Not only were both of the cars posted above likely designed 3-4years ahead of press release, the level of security at automotive design studios is paramount. There is no possible way BMW or Honda have a fucking clue what is about to be released by another manufacturer until its been released..

That's exactly what Murica said before they dropped two A-Bombs on the sovereign nation of Japan, and lo and behold, Stallin was cramming the same A-Bomb up Murica's bum a few years later threatening to slap fight the face off of Truman's face

Trollin aside, I think you missed the point of his post entirely: EVERY MODERN CAR IS THE SAME; this wasn't done intentionally, this was done by a market full of name-brand marketing bastards targeting a large group of society with more money than personality purchasing vehicles from greedy manufacturing businessmen taking advantage of amoney-making scheme who inherited a company of a generation prior to them, and in since doing so have lost the true emphasis in performance and a truly enjoyable driving experience that their forefathers had in mind designing the cars they did. Catch what we be sprecken now?

None of this whole "I'll design a crappy yet asthetically "great" looking car because we can charge people a lot for it because people will still buy it" is intentional, it's just being dictated by the people who have the money: IE modern people, with modern lives, doing modern things, working a modern job at a modern desk job in some modern city who hangs outwit bother modern people doing the same modern life together. Catching on yet?

"Modern"-day styling has been so played out that every car is beginning to look exactly the same, intentionally or not, where as decent "broken-the-mold" "step-in-the-right-direction" cars like the new FR-S or 135i are far and few in between; or in some point, not extreme enough in a step towards 80s and 90s driving experiences

BMW used to be the cars that set you apart, but now a days, theyve been on a steady downward spiral into a company that just produces a badge and a brands people into joining the rest of the modern masses who value status, possessions, and fame over a good old fashion lap around the track in a decent driver's car. "I don't give a rip how much you've spent on a Gucci suit Mr. smith; I just came back from killing a bear with my bare hands and chopping down ten trees in thirty minutes: I look just as good as you in any suit, and I have man-balls"

I don't think people are hung up on the idea that BMW copied Honda, I think people are hung up on the fact that every car produced in the 21st century is somehow related to the other in the same boring way and is targeted for a specific group of boring people buying boring cars

And the new BMW with its "oh-freak-look-at-me-my-friggen-eyes-can-touch-my-nose" can go burn a slow death while being driven by 60-year old pimp politicians and trophy wives that get no attention from their husbands
